Firm reimbursements

Do you know when these start to trickle in, and when's the appropriate time to follow-up? I have received some, but not all.
In particular, I've been reimbursed by (1) Paul, Weiss NY, (2) O'Melveny NY, and (3) Jones Day DC. I'm still waiting on (1) S&C DC and (2) Debevoise. I'm wondering if anyone else has been reimbursed by these firms.

Did you receive S&C or Debevoise yet?

Not sure if Humblebrag flame...
Assuming it isnt, relax, this really isnt a priority for most firms, but they will get you your money. There are some places (I am not sure about the specific ones you listed) that wont cut checks until the end of a month, or they may just take a while to process everything. The busiest time for recruiting/accounting just ended and they are likely trying to catch up.
You (and this goes for everyone) can also email the recruiter to follow up. Never heard of anyone getting a bad rep for communication.

Assuming you aren't still waiting for an offer/rejection just follow up now. Their literal job is to deal with the logistics of recruiting law students, they will not be put off by a follow up email/call 6 weeks later.

I'm still waiting for an offer/rejection & a reimbursement from one firm. I'm also currently a strike out. And it was an expensive trip.

I mean following up on the reimbursement is still completely ok but I acknowledge that people are wildly risk averse when waiting to hear back.

Anyone get their reimbursement from Debevoise yet? Pushing 2 months since CB. Ridiculous.

OP here. My friend and I haven't. Also, I can't speak for my friend, but it's been almost three months since my CB.
What about S&C? Any takers?

well past the 2 month mark here... chances they're just trying to dick me around?
Especially one pretty big bill with cabs around Houston, airport to and from downtown etc... Not cheap

I am still waiting on one NYC firm to send the reimbursements. I interviewed with them in late August.

Jesus, just pick up the phone and call. They'll likely push it through if you call. Why wait months for money??

I just got my last reimbursement in today. Unless you absolutely need the money, why bother them for it? It is highly unlikely that they've forgotten, and chances are that they just haven't processed it yet.

...why
not bother them? Who cares if they're bothered after the decision is made?

You're going to take 3 minutes of your time & theirs, there is like 0% reason this could possibly matter. JFC

You don't need to "need money now" for a $400 or $500 outlay to be significant enough to warrant a three sentence e-mail two months after the fact, moneybags.

So for you, the interest that you would gain from investing that $400~$500 now instead of in a month or two is worth spending the time to write an email / make a call? I'm not saying that is unreasonable - I'm just surprised to hear that future lawyers are that strapped for cash.

You nailed it.
Pennies of interest and extremely valuable law student time are the only things people ITT are considering when deciding to write these bothersome e-mails.
Doesn't anybody ITT have any money?

Well, given that in the last month, my nasdaq100 fund is +11.18%, if a 3 sentence email taking 5 minutes would have gotten my $500 then, those 5 minutes would have have been returning me about $670/hr.
You on that CEO10k/day time bro?
