If one were to fail the MPRE and have to retake it, would anybody know? Would your firm care? Also, do you get back a score? Is the score relevant? Is there any incentive to "ace" it?

I took the MPRE without studying and got an 84 :( As long as you don't take the last possible exam date before the bar it has literally no bearing.

The score is relevant in that some states have higher/lower required scores to pass. (I believe 75 in DC is the lowest and 86 in Cali is the highest.) But that's it.
