post-CB: telling a firm you'll accept if given the offer

I have a SA offer from a smaller firm (less than 100 attorneys) that expires soon, but am still waiting on 2 CBs with biglaw firms. Since I realistically would accept the offer from one of the two big firms, should i email one of these firms expressing that? Or should I just wait it out?

I would definitely not let an offer to work expire if it is your only option.
If you'd prefer the other two firms, let them know and tell them the deadline but do not sacrifice an offer in hand for anything but another offer in hand.

Have you told them you have an expiring offer? If not, do that yesterday. No need to say you'll definitely accept, just tell them you have an offer expiring soon but remain very interested in their firm.

Obviously if I don't hear from any other firm by the end of next week, I'll accept the offer I have. I'm wondering what the best way to go about dealing with the other firms is.
