Top Law Schools

At NYU, going abroad final semester. Then i will work in nyc at v50. Should i expect relocation costs covered? Worth asking the firm? Something I should even bother with getting?

You're asking them to pay for your costs to move back to the US from your semester abroad? That seems unlikely but it may depend on the firm. Generally when they pay moving costs it's not a ton of money (there's a max amount) or just a salary advance (which isn't that great). But again, no idea about your firm. I guess it can't hurt to ask

There is a lot of variation in relo packages. Some are quite generous. Definitely ask.

What i am asking for is if i go to NYU, go abroad for my final semester, and then move back to LA for the summer/bar will they pay for my moving expenses. I thought normally if you dont go abroad, but move away for the summer they will not pay for your move if you went to a law school within 50 miles. Wodnering if this is any different

moving the little shit i have to LA/family. because no reason to pay for an apartment here or storage, when i dont need to be back in NY till september

I doubt they are going to pay for you to move stuff from a town you didn't live in during school at all.

Not too sure what the point of posting this link was. My question remains, does the 50 mile rule change if im gonna be abroad for the 8 months before i start work?
