Are the kinds of work associates do at prestigious securities groups different from those at less prestigious ones? How is doing securities work at Cravath/S&C different from doing it at firms such DLA Piper/White & Case/Mayer Brown?

I still want to know where this quote originated from. Is it from
that post of Rad Lulz a few years ago, or is there a song or something I just don't know about that this cream quote comes from? (It seems like even Rad Lulz was referring to some other thread with that post.)
It's an Xo meme.

It's functionally the same work, just for less preftigious companies (issuer side) and banks (underwriter side).

Doing an ordinary offering document is pretty much the same at either place.
But the difference is that, especially since many folks no longer want to pay Cravath rates for ordinary securities work, the Cravaths and S&Cs of the world get a higher proportion of deals that have serious hair on them. IPOs, unusual offerings, etc.
