C&F HELL

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Oct 03, 2014 8:13 pm

I was accused of the following violations of my school's code of conduct:
-Disorderly conduct
-Property damage
-Failure to comply
-Creating a community disturbance

In lieu of going thru the student conduct process (formal hearing with witnesses, presentation of evidence, etc.) I was offered to temporarily withdraw from law school and take a medical leave of absence, which I accepted. What are the C&F ramifications of this? Will start undergoing therapy starting October 10.

No criminal charges have been filed against me.

We can't help you here with this specific question. you're going to have to hire an attorney to handle this.

I'd imagine what you did is relevant.

There are attys who specialize in c&f stuff, but w/o more info I'd just say disclose it all and you'll probably be fine. We're a profession that doesn't really care if you're an asshat.

I still can't believe you did it. Everyone was talking about it the next day, even during class.

Depending on which bar you're taking, you may be screwed. Florida and California bars are notorious for rejecting people for C&F reasons

I'm targetting states like PA, NJ, DE, MA, NY. Are any of them hardasses when it comes to C&F?

Also, are you an attorney?

This sounds hilarious.

It might be in bad taste, but a recap would round out this weekend nicely.
