Been 3 weeks since CB for entry level... give up hope?

Biglaw entry level staff attorney position in a particular niche practice group. Major non-nyc market. Followed up recently expressing continued interest, no response. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks. The position is still listed on the firm's career page.

Should I be worried? Anything else I can do?

I am in the same situation for non-major market entry level job. Curious to what others have to say.

I got my offer exactly three weeks after callback. There is a chance. But its a slim chance.

Hang in there an keep mass mailing. Does not sound like there is anything else you can do to help you chances with this firm at this point.

I was in a similar boat last year and was told the following-Offers and rejections have probably already gone out. You are in the camp that received neither, which is like OCI waitlisted.

Sry, not sure if I made this clear, but I have graduated and this is entry-level (not an SA). I heard from others that non-OCI hiring typically takes longer than OCI hiring. Still, 3 weeks is a long time...

Bump. Any thoughts re: entry level positions, not OCI-related positions?

Same boat as you; been a couple weeks since my CB, and silence since. The wait is agonizing.

You're right about DC, but the firm isn't V50.

OP, don't worry about this. My friends and I both haven't heard back anything since early August. I think the firms are waiting on Oct 1 deadline for returning summers.

OP here. Got an email back from the person I followed up with saying that I'm still under consideration, thanking me for my patience, and saying that I should hear within a week or two. Good news, or does this just mean im waitlisted?

Kind of seems to fit with what above poster said, but idk
