please share firms that are still interviewing. are they all done?

I have 3 CB's next week. 2 NY, one Southern secondary.

This thread won't take off the way you want it too, it's just way too vague.

All you can really do is keep with the mass mailing and following up with ones you haven't been dinged from yet IMO.

Nothing aimless about it, apply to literally every firm you can find. NYC is a great place to start.

NYC is a fantastic place to start. Four CBs over the past two weeks from hitting that market hard.

Hm. I don't know why but NYC isn't working at all for me.
I hit NYC first, a couple weeks ago. Mailed over 100 there. Got nothing.
I got 5 cbs in secondary markets. I only mailed around 50 there.

Uh, just reapply and don't mention it. You potentially get a second bite at the apple without making them acknowledge their horrible yield prediction and current desperation. What's the harm?

I will go against TLS wisdom and say July might be too early for markets like NYC that have such institutionalized recruiting process. However, nothing stops from sending an email where you reiterate your love for some NYC biglaw firm.

I cancelled a couple of screeners last week for A&P, Fragomen, and Kasowitz, all New York. Dunno where they're at now but as of then, they were at least still screening people.
