3L deciding between Skadden and summer firm. The Skadden offer is in any corporate practice other than M&A. I'm somewhat confident I want to do M&A, so thinking of going to my summer firm over Skadden. Summer firm is like band 2-3 M&A (JD/GDC/PW/Deb etc)

Is there anything I'm missing? Should I just turn down Skadden? Are there great non-M&A practice groups at Skadden I should consider. Is FIG M&A, which is on the table, a relevant consideration?

Shameless bump. Anyone have any input?

Looking to lateral out of NYC to home state eventually. Will having Skadden (but not M&A) on the resume help me significantly over one of the firms mentioned?

Bump. This is relevant to my interests. Anyone have any thoughts on exit opportunities at Skadden for non M&A?
