Chapman and Cutler (Work and Lateral opportunities)

Considering an offer from Chapman and Cutler in Chicago. In speaking with them, some of attorneys said a lot of work they are doing (in Corp. Fin. Practice) was around the same realm of work that DLA, Kirkland, and other large Chicago firms are doing. I was wondering what people's thoughts were on Chapman's quality of work comparable to other firms. Also, what are the exit/lateral options looking like for Chapman?
I understand the larger firms are doing a lot of work that is well above Chapman's level, but if they do a decent amount of work that Chapman is doing that would speak well for lateral opps right?
I am not looking to move to NY, so don't care as much about the work comparison between Chapman and NY firms, more so just how they do in relation to larger Chicago firms. Thank you!
