Difference in training between regional big law and V100 ?

Hey guys,
Is there really a difference between corporate M&A training from say a biglaw V100 firm vs a regional biglaw firm?
I've heard people say that regional biglaw firms have more "hands" on work that involves more substantive drafting earlier on in your career vs say a V100 firm. Has anyone been to both types of firms?
Thanks
