Which is better for transactional? Also, if anybody has any insight into culture, I would appreciate it! Thank you.

Fried Frank - not even close, IMO.

Is either place more of a "sweatshop" than the other? Or is it a pretty standard 9-9 at both?

You probably work less at S&K because they have less work to give out to people. That's a bad thing, not a good thing.

When did you hear from Seward?

FWIW I've heard more negative than average things about FF's culture in the echo chamber. Take it for a grain of salt and I'd still take FF, regardless.

They seem very different. FF seems like your typical prestigious vault firm. Definitely more prestigious. Seward appears to be a sort of financial services boutique. Seems that Seward is more of a lifestyle place based on research like chambers, vault, etc. Depends on what you are looking for.

OP here, I am going to assume that people think exit options from FF are better as well?

My biggest concern is their rep as a "sweatshop." Ideally I would like to be at the firm for longer than 3 years

"Better" is relative. SK seems to do alot of startup fund work so the exit options are probably to those. Exits from FF are probably more to bigger companies.
