Just as a general guide, for events such as:
Post-offer Second looks -
Offer Dinners -
Offer Cocktail Receptions -
Coffee/Meeting with individual attorney -
Can I lose the full suit & tie? it is horrifically hot in the city right now. Thanks!

I've asked recruiters at a couple of firms about clothing at offer dinners and they both said business casual. If you're in any doubt, just email the recruiting office.

Re: Post-Interview Attire
i would never wear anything less than business casual. whatever the attorneys wear to the office on a day-to-day basis is what you should be wearing to these events. whenever you're working in a professional environment, the general rule of thumb is always to blend in with your wardrobe, not stick out (unless you're a partner/rainmaker). furthermore, just because you have the offer doesn't mean things are all hunky dory. if you decide to take the offer, you're going to be working with these attorneys for the summer and possibly after your graduate. You don't want to give them any reason whatsoever to think negatively of you, even though a wardrobe choice might seem like a superficial way to make such a judgment.
