I was chewing gum during my screener with Skadden partner. I eventually asked for a trash can to spit out my gum. Very weird lol. Not gna get a CB

I'd want to remain anonymous too if I were the sort of person who chewed gum during job interviews.

It's ok. I had a more embarrassing thing happen with a partner during my Skadden cb to the point that it has become the joke of my LS class. I was mortified, but I was good humored enough to laugh at myself after the fact.

Oh, and I still got an offer. There's still hope!

[note: I would say what happened, but I am still self conscious enough to not want to out myself yet. Too many people reading TLS know what happened].

i wonder if this is the story I am thinking about. if so, it was hilarious. did it involve roof top?

Same thing happened to me at some other firm, still got an offer. I think it actually made me look confident. I politely asked the partner if I could throw out the gum.

No it didn't, but a rooftop does sound like a great set up for a hilarious story!
