Figured I'd get this started. I interviewed last week Wednesday as part of that callback reception evening. Still no word.

I haven't had mine yet but do have a Q for you.Did you get your interviewer schedule in advance (night before or whatever) for your CB? Can't remember if they told me they would send email or not. Thanks!CapitainMorgan wrote:Figured I'd get this started. I interviewed last week Wednesday as part of that callback reception evening. Still no word.
Ya, email came pretty late the night before. Though they ended up switching up my schedule the day of and I only found out when I got there.Anonymous User wrote:I haven't had mine yet but do have a Q for you.Did you get your interviewer schedule in advance (night before or whatever) for your CB? Do you know when they got the call with the offer?Anonymous User wrote:I know of two people who have received offers who interviewed that night
One Monday afternoon, the other Tuesday morning. I know other people who interviewed that night have not received rejections or offers yet.Anonymous User wrote:Do you know when they got the call with the offer?Anonymous User wrote:I know of two people who have received offers who interviewed that night
All's still quiet by me as well. Guessing we'll hear tomorrow? Best of luck all around!Anonymous User wrote:Neither rejection nor offer from Fried Frank's Tuesday 9/9 event as of today. Don't know anybody who has heard either way yet.

Even despite them losing three big name partners last week, which followed 2 partner departures in in March, and more last year?Anonymous User wrote:I think they're waiting to hear from some of us. Fwiw I will probably be accepting next week
Wow, I hadn't seen that she'd left - that's scary. I'm gonna hit up some alums from my school and I also have a second look planned.Anonymous User wrote:Even despite them losing three big name partners last week, which followed 2 partner departures in in March, and more last year?Anonymous User wrote:I think they're waiting to hear from some of us. I feel like FF is just going in another direction. Valerie Ford was only co-chair and was going to step down in 2015 anyway. The other co-chair, David Greenwald, used to be partner at FF, moved to Goldman, and came back as co-chair. IMO the firm is moving in another direction, perhaps trying to build better ties with Goldman.Anonymous User wrote:Agree, normally I'd chalk a partner defection up to good poaching by another firm but when the 11 year chair of the firm leaves and brings other partners with her, it's a bit of a red flag.
