Mass mail or mass email?

I'm at the stage where it's time to start mass mailing for a 2L summer SA. Is email appropriate? My career advisor says to use snail mail, but I think she may be stuck in the stone age. Mail is exorbitantly expensive and time consuming, whereas email is the opposite. Sure it's nice to have a resume printed on resume paper instead of reading it on a computer screen, but is that advantage alone worth the extra cost and enormous amount of time required to use snail mail?

If this is for real use email and mass mail everywhere you can think of immedietly. You should have started in July but get on it now.

1) Your career advisor is awful.
2) E-mail only.
3) Technically the time was a month ago, but better late than never.

is it really that late?
I started in July but was told that we should be starting around August or during our OCI. We just finished OCI last week so I figured this time was the prime time.

Slightly, but everyone is still hiring

I have CBs well into Sept scheduled, and like you said, if you just had OCI, they will be calling back many of the OCI people over the next weeks. But August is busy season for sure.

Alright thanks, I figured she was stuck in the stone age. Thanks for info about the timeline, we were told that mid to late August would be best.
