Need Post OCI Career Advice

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 19, 2014 5:09 pm

I finished top 3% at a T1 regional school and was hoping to land something at a large firm. It looks like I might have struck out at OCI and I'm waiting to hear from two callbacks I got from mass mailing but I'm planning for the worst. Assuming I strike out where do I go from here. My teachers really like me and I have been told I could be competitive for federal clerkships but I also thought I would get something through OCI or mass mailing so I'm not sure what to think. I'll have between 90-100k debt upon graduation which isn't enormous but still probably would take forever to pay off on say a 50k salary. Besides trying to think of more places to mass mail and continuing to express interest where I haven't heard back from does anyone have any advice. Thanks in advance.

Keep on mass mailing (big firms --> mid firms --> small firms). Quit reading tea leaves.
