Any Cravath offers out there yet?

I interviewed on Saturday, along with many, many other people. I haven't heard back yet, and I haven't heard of anyone else having heard back yet.

Cravath offers are out, but for those who interviewed on Saturday (I was among the hordes), the recruiter told me that we wouldn't hear until Tuesday because the hiring partner wasn't in the office.

Was that the corporate hiring partner or lit?

Litigation offer; interviewed Friday, received same day

I interviewed for corporate, but reading past threads tells me that there are no same-day offers on Saturdays for either group.

Interviewed Thursday, offer on the spot. Corporate. My understanding's that if the hiring partner's in the office and some client hasn't ripped his focus away from interviews, you'll get an offer on the spot.

Saturdays would probably be a unique instance.

I was there on Saturday as well. Both corp and lit hiring partners WERE in the office and interviewing candidates, but I was told by a past hiring partner that Cravath doesn't do same-day offers on Saturdays regardless because of the sheer volume of candidates that day.

So would it matter if a candidate interviewing on Saturday met with the corp or lit hiring partner?

Have my callback next week, any particular suggestions from you guys based on this year (I've read through the previous threads)

I've done four in New York thus far, and Cravath was easily the stuffiest of the four. You'll never feel completely casual with anyone in the firm. The associates were still very content with the work (the hours are rough, but they're very open about that).

Gotcha. Thanks for the input. If I'm fortunate to get the offer, I'm gonna have a real tough time weighing the pros of being there in terms of the name, training, etc. versus the cons of being in a stuffier tougher kinda shop. But I guess it's no different than McK for consulting or GS for banking, they all probably have similar cultures that way.

Tomorrow will be crazy.

Can confirm corp calls but not heard of any lit

so ... when does one get the ding emails? lol. is the "you should hear from us very soon" only relevant to offerees?

OP here. Have not heard of anyone getting day-off offers on Tuesday but some day-offs happened on Monday.

This is my understanding as well, but obviously only have a limited sample.

For people who had CB today, offers tomorrow? Or Friday?
