Second Callback? Offer Over Lunch? Please help!

So I had a screener last Tuesday with an equity partner at a V60 firm in a major market. It went extremely well, and I was invited for a callback the next day. I went to the callback this Wednesday, met with 1 partner, 1 senior counsel, 2 senior associates, and 1 junior associate. All of the interviews went extremely well once again. I sent thank you notes to all 5 and 3 of them responded, all with a very nice reply and saying they hope to see me again soon.
Today, I got a call from the director of recruiting and she said that everyone "loved" meeting me, and she wanted to know if I would be interested in coming in for a lunch next week to "meet a few more people."
Is this a second round callback? Is this an offer over lunch? I've never heard of such a thing and don't know what to think. Any input/past experience would be much appreciated.

Something similar happened to me last year, and when I asked CSO they said it was more likely that there was someone in a decision-making position (or several) who didn't get a chance to meet with me the first time, and it was more of a second callback. I ended up taking a different offer and canceling, so I'd treat it like a second callback but be prepared for anything.

To me it seems like the firm must really like you. It's unlikely that they would have acted so quickly and be willing to spend more time (and money) on you if it was something like a 50-50 chance. I would say they are very likely to make an offer, perhaps even over lunch. That being said, treat it like an interview and don't let your guard down.
That's just my humble opinion though.

I mean, I fully understand why you are asking for more info, I probably would too, but regardless of further anecdotes the above advice is still going to be very credited.

OP here. When you say above advice, do you mean that it's likely a pure second callback or an all but a done deal, or a combination of the two?

I mean this advice is really solid and it's doubtful anyone can offer anything that would make it not credited.

I second this. There's no way that the firm would waste their time (or yours) if they weren't going to make an offer or at least were very close to making one.

What real difference does it make? Either way you want to come across as professional and personable. Sure, some clarity would be great for peace of mind, but it really shouldn't affect how you approach it.

The second callback is usually a formality before being offered. At worst you are on a very short list. If this is not a NALP firm, you may be asked to accept with only a short window to decide. This happened to a close friend.

OP here, luckily they are a NALP firm so that shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the input.

OP here. Just got the lineup for tomorrow. Lunch with the Chairman/Executive Partner of the office, as well as another very senior partner. Also, it's a very very swanky restaurant. Does this have any bearing on what people think this is all about?
NOTE: I fully intend to treat it like an interview, however I'm just looking for some peace of mind.
