Had a CB to Simpson (NY) last friday. Anyone get an offer from there yet, have a sense of time between cb and offer?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you haven't received an offer yet, you are very likely not going to receive one. STB very rarely takes longer than two days to give offers.

Even now when Simpson has had hiring partners out of the office interviewing at multiple campuses to give out cbs? You dont think the timeline would be slighly longer now?

It's possible. I wouldn't say anything for certain until it's been more than a week.

Anyone else get a timeline of 1 to 2 weeks?

I did my CB monday and was told 1-2 weeks, especially because many of the partners are on vacation. I'm keeping the faith, would be thrilled to work there.

CB today and they told me I'd hear within the week. So who knows?

So has anyone who has interviewed in the last two weeks gotten a ding or offer yet?

They say 1 week, but 1 day offer turnaround is common. Sorry.

Which California office? Palo Alto is same day.

Interviewed Friday, offer today. They said the same 1-2 weeks. 1 business day does seem common.

Not necessarily. Some do go out up to a week later. Anything more than a week is almost certainly a ding, but up to that week? You're still viable.

STB always tries to do same-day (in all offices), but 1-2 business days is much more common given constraints on getting all reviews in. (They don't have recruiting staff hiding around the corner to sneak into the interviewer's office the moment you step out to get reviews immediately the way S&C and Cravath do.) An offer after more than two business days would be highly unusual.

Not really false hope . I had my CB on Thursday and got an offer today. It does happen.

Offer today. Callback 8/8, so 11 days between CB and offer. Weird things can still happen people.
