Top Law Schools

I interviewed with a firm pre-OCI (meaning the firm interviewed me before they went on campus to any school). Basically, its been about 10 days. In that time, I haven't heard back, but I know this firm has been dinging people at OCI already. Is this meaningless? I think it could be either 1) they would have offered me by now, they're just dinging people quickly from OCI and saving me for last, or 2) I've made it past sort of cut, and they're still waiting on a decision. I hate reading much into these things, but I really love this firm haha.

As always, it's impossible to know without knowing the firm/office's hiring procedures, but not getting dinged is pretty much always good news. If other people have been dinged before you they probably didn't meet the firm's hardline hiring criteria - most likely they were below the GPA cutoff (or alternatively did terribly in their interview). If you haven't been rejected yet then you're probably still in consideration.

They could be waiting to do a bunch of CBs before they make a decision. If they really liked you, they'd have offered you though.

yeah, they hopefully will learn to like me soon..lol
