Cause big law is coming.
The first 4-5 months you'll love it! Oh it's so exciting to be involved in such important deal / litigation!
Month 6 - People start giving you real work and that means they expect you do to real work. Now your ass is on the line for your work product, but you still don't know what the fuck you are doing. You start to wonder why stuff is always so urgent. This sort of sucks but you still feel important.
Your friend who you always suspected of being week announces on facebook that they took a new job in a weak non prestigious job. You think they are cowards.
Month 7 - Okay, now I know this shit doesn't have to be done tonight but this midlevel wants its ASAP. What a dick
Month 8 - While watching orange is the new black (during work at 9pm while waiting for edits from a midlevel) you get horny thinking about shanking the midlevel
Month 9 - Summers are here. Their eagerness is annoying, but they are a source of free food.
Month 10 - You cry at your desk for 3 straight nights to get a deal done taht ends up going away anyway.
Month 11- Summers are gone and you didn't learn any of their names. You get an email from a partner staffing you on another case even though you have too many already. You try to say something about it but are promptly ignored.
Month 12 - Your fellow graduates are moving to new firms for some reason. You dream of quitting with no backup option.
