Last month, I emailed an alum who is a partner at a v20 firm to see if they could meet for an informational interview.

Since then, I have been pre-selected for an OCI screener interview with the firm in a couple weeks, and Simplicity says that this partner is the same one who will be doing the interviewing.

This morning, I finally got a response to my email from a month ago asking if I could still do the informational interview.

Is this a good idea to still do?

It will probably act as a pseudo interview. I've had one of those already earlier in the summer and now i have an OCI screener with the same partner next week. Not sure what to expect.
