Negotiating more out of your FT offer after SA?

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Aug 04, 2014 12:15 am

I know this is odd. But does anyone have experience negotiating things like an extra bonus in the post '08 world?

I'm IP, multiple offers out of SA, lots of prior WE etc.

No firm I was at was perfect but I want to try and milk a bit out of the firms to make my decision. I've had lots of experience doing this in my first career. I know 99% of SAs are just happy to have an offer, I'm just curious if anyone has gone back to the well and asked them to sweeten the pot and has any advice. It may actually break the tie... I had an assc mention something to me about this during the summer (about asking for more) as well.

You have no bargaining power. Don't try this.
