Mass Email Response Question

For those who have got interviews through mass emailing, how long do you typically hear back from the firm? I've been doing mass emailing since last week and haven't heard anything from them (other than few firms' standard "thank you for your interest" email). Thanks!

I heard back from one within a day, another within a week, and another after two weeks. No response on the other ten or so from this market though. I think it really depends.

Some I didn't hear back from until I followed up two or three times.

2-3 weeks. I didn't get that interview until October.

Generally, what did you say when you followed up? I would like to do the same but don't want to come off as too eager or rude, as in "why didn't you email me by now" lol.

I heard back ~11 months later from one firm. Good times.

Most firms just won't respond.

I would try to find something to update them with. Transcript showing my final course list for the semester, grade in a weekend course, whatever. Ifi didn't have anything then I would wait a bit longer and just say "hey im Sul interested." This can be useful later in the cycle because a few firms might have had a low yield and need to find people who are still available.
