Ahead of OCI next month, any insights on these two offices for corporate work, and specifically, how they compare against each other (e.g. nature of clients, focus, culture, etc.)? Looking to do corporate work in the DC area, but not sure which office to target. Thanks!

Just go look at the profiles of the associates. Pretty sure the NOVA office is mostly IP. Looking at a few profiles, most either have a hard science, a soft IP interest or something of value like a Federal Claims Clerkship, or was hired pre 2000 when IP wasn't as big as it is now.

A general rule is that DC is not a good place to be for corporate. But a few of the firms have OK corporate practices in the area. The powerhouse in DC for corp. is Latham. Chambers also has Hogan, GDC, Kirkland, and Skadden in band 1. MoFo is band 4.
