Long term exit options for biglaw Patent Lit

Working in a major market as a patent litigator. First year.
So what are my options long term and how much do they pay?

Litigation leads to litigation... or potentially prosecution if you get out early enough.

Yea, but what do smaller lit firms pay Patent Lit people and how much risk is there that I'll be permafucked and have to start doc reviewing for a living or something.

If it really came to that, wouldn't you just go into programming? Even if you are a shitty programmer you will make more money than doc review. You can do like Software Testing BS for high 5-figures pretty easily. Better life than doc review.

Yes I would. I guess that is probably a good bottom for the EE/CS market.
