Top 5% at WUSTL. Have all four in Chicago so far. Kind of surprised more people on here didn't get Sidley since they had 40 spots (especially someone in top 10% at Iowa). Im wondering how many USC/UCLA people even applied.

Isn't the remaining slots column for the remaining number of interview slots? If so, it's possible that a firm might issue 8 invitations, but until those invitations are accepted, the number of interview slots won't go down.

You're right that it shows slots remaining. However, I believe firms issue as many invitations as they have slots, and even if they didn't the chance that at least one person wouldn't have signed up by now if the invites hadn't gone out is pretty slim.

What could possibly be taking Covington and McDermott this long?

Covington is often one of the last, at least it was last year, FYI, so don't stress about the fact they haven't posted yet.

Aaaaaaah! Heeeellllpp! Covington hasn't selected yet. Pre-select has already been open for FOUR DAYS... What are we going to do? We're all doomed!

More seriously, this is good to know. Thanks. :)

I just want to be able to focus on something else. I get super distracted when interviews are coming out.

See http://law.wisc.edu/career/Details.htm: "If you've been 'invited,' you have been selected for an interview, and you should click on the 'Accept Preselect' button, which will take you to that employer's interview schedule. Select an interview time and click on 'Submit.' If selected students do not sign up for an interview, students listed as 'alternates' by that employer will be notified by email that they can sign up for interviews."

Yeah, I remember waiting on them and wondering when the heck they were going to select. Good luck to all.

Same 10% at Iowa as before. Just got selected for McDermott. Only Chi firm, though.

Damn. I didn't want to go to Chicago anyway. That was brutal.

Maybe they could sense that people didn't really want Chicago from their cover letters or something. I wasn't expecting Chicago to be such a blood bath.

Any idea when interviews need to be accepted by? Have a few alternates I'm hoping come through. (CWT, Cov, Cleary)

Got an email saying there's a spot available for King & Spalding SF and since I'm an alternate I can have it. Though they needed to rearrange my other interviews around

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
