Hello - I'm a biglaw associate in a transactional practice in NY. I need to move to DC, and I actually want to make a bit of a practice area shift. What firms in DC have big/solid banking regulatory/financial institutions practices. I am thinking Dodd Frank, Basel, OCC, Fed type regulations/regulators. I know a handful (like Skadden) but want to see if I am missing anything.

Thanks!

full disclosure - I am a 2L currently looking to work in DC in the same practice area, so my knowledge is based off on rankings and the advice of others.

The firms in DC that I'm looking at are: Hogan and Lovells, Arnold & Porter, Covington, WilmerHale, Skadden, Paul Hastings, Cleary, S&C.

I found this helpful: http://www.chambersandpartners.com/1278 ... torial/5/1 . Just check to see the firms who's key office is Washington, DC.
