Top Law Schools

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is a SEC honors program like that of the DOJ Honors program for 3Ls who want post-grad work. I couldn't find anything on their websites. Does the SEC ever hire 3Ls?

Sometimes they do hire out of law school. Really rare though, and you typically need to have something going for you to have a chance.

Enforcement doesn't hire, from what I can tell.

Everyone who I have met who has been hired there straight from school did the summer honors program.

Different anon. They really only hire entry levels from the pool of people who do the honors program. No separate app. If a position is available they will let you know, you interview again (more in-depth process) then they give you an offer. This process can take a few months. These aren't posted positions so you don't really apply. You just have to do a good job during your internship and be lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Annually they hire about 5-10 people straight out of law school and most of these positions are in DC and not regional offices.
