How many bids are too few?

I was ranked 2nd in my section at a strong regional school (think BC/GW/etc). I was lucky enough to work at as a summer associate as a 1L and am almost certainly likely to be offered a position to return 2L summer. I am, however, still wanting to meet with some firms through OCI to really weigh my options. I love where I work but feel that I should take an opportunity to meet with some firms at least.
However, there are only a handful of firms (around 10) (I've been meeting / talking with associates) that I'd consider going to over my current firm. Is there any reason why I should bid for more? Is it dumb to only bid for 10? May be a dumb question but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
