Re: SLS OCI
I am targeting two markets. For a specific firm that I am interested in and that is doing OCI, I know attorneys at the offices in both markets. They have separately offered to forward my resume to the head recruiter for that office.
However, this firm has stated on symplicity that you cannot do multiple interview within the firm. With this in mind, at this stage, could there be any negative consequences with having these attorneys separately forwarding my resume to the head recruiter in the 2 different offices? Any chance I'll get to interview with both?

Re: SLS OCI
When I went through OCI and this was the case, I followed up with both offices, only bid one, and expressed my interest in splitting between the offices. A lot of firms had this policy a few years back, so it wasn't that uncommon to do this.Anonymous User wrote:I am targeting two markets. How many interviews are you all planning on doing? I'm ~25, and I'm worried it might not be enough. Mainly targeting NYC. Below median.

I'm doing 26 but I have an offer. You seem safe since you're targeting NYC but until you have an offer I guess you can't have too many interviews.Anonymous User wrote:How many interviews are you all planning on doing? Do SF firms pay for a cab ride from campus and back for CBs?

How early is too early to worry about striking out, because…Anonymous User wrote:I'm doing 26 but I have an offer. Anyone know how much time MTO usually takes between screener and callback?

They come in waves. IIRC last year there were some in the next day or two, some like 1.5 weeks later, and then maybe even some after that. Their governance model is generally slow... I wouldn't read too much into a delay one way or the other. Same thing goes for the delay between CB and offer, too.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know how much time MTO usually takes between screener and callback?

Does anyone know whether Gibson Dunn dings via email or snail mail? I got invited to the dinner but have yet to hear from them for a CB. They are the last firm I'm waiting on so I'm not sure what I should be expecting.
