Top Law Schools

Hi all. I have an interview for a law clerk position for the fall (and possibly beyond) at a reputable civil litigation firm in my market. Problem is, every legal internship I have done has been transactional (in-house, transactional division at local gov. agency, etc.). No litigation experience whatsoever, besides LRW class. No clue how I landed this interview.

Obviously, transactional is my goal after law school, but ITE I'll take whatever I can get. Any thoughts on how I can spin my experience into something the firm will find attractive/valuable for their civil litigation practice? Thanks.

Just a fellow law student here, but you could suggest that you were interested in both transactional and litigation prior to accepting internships.. and your exposure has led you to believe you would prefer litigation etc. Could also mention how you've been wanting to litigate, and that your resume is merely indicative of your accepting the opportunities that presented themselves.
