Currently a rising 3L at MVP in a v50 firm for 2L summer but realize I want to do transactional work and my 2L firm doesn't have much of a transactional practice. Should I do 3L OCI? Any firms to suggest where a 3.46 gpa/Journal might fly in a top transactional practice in NYC?

is the 3.46 in the old scale first year gpa? or is it cumulative?

Interested in this too. I'd like a PM also if you don't mind.

No need for a PM - just find transactional law to be more suited to my personality and skill set.

GIve Latham a try. I feel like they fairly commonly hire 3Ls
