What exactly classifies as "Biglaw"?

I'm sorry if this is an absurdly basic question, and if someone wants to just point me in the direction of a thread that answers this, that would be a-okay.
Here's my question. What exactly classifies as "Biglaw"? I've been told, on this board, that I have absolutely no chance at Biglaw (3.23 at a top 25 w/ various extracurriculars and maybe journal) and shouldn't even bother. And I can accept that because I know that there are at least 20 schools that are above mine where people have way better grades.
But what exactly does that mean? Does that mean that all large law firms are out of the question for me and I should just focus on mid-size law firms?
Again, my apologies if this is very basic, but I'm just wondering how to strategize.
