Question About Mass Mailing

I'm going home in Mid-July for a weekend, where I would love to work. There are firms there that will be at my OCI, but they probably won't be specifically from my home market's office. There are also firms in my home market that won't be at OCI. I was planning on reaching out to them soon to let them know that I will be back briefly in July, and likely won't be back for a while after that, but I know it's really early to start sending stuff out to firms. Would this be too early, and how much time should I give to notify firms that I will be back in town? I can always come home for a day or so in August/September during EIP, but it would be much more convenient if I could meet with them then. Should I reach out to them soon to let them know I am free for interviews and such, or should I wait until August, when most of these interviews are taking place? Sorry for all the rambling, this is probably confusing, so if my question is unclear please ask me to clarify. Thanks!
