Currently looking to lateral to Haynes and Boone (Dallas), Gardere (Houston), Pillsbury (Houston), or Sutherland (Houston).

Does anyone have any info on the litigation groups in those offices? What kind of hours are the associates working? What's the culture like? Should I avoid any of those firms? Are these firms perceived as "healthy"?

Pillsbury seems to have a very small lit group and Sutherland is very energy centric.

HayBoo has a great reputation from what I hear. Consistently ranked near top BIGLAW Texas firms to work for.
