Anyone know when to start applying to the different branches for next year employment?

You'll have to keep checking the services' websites to see when the applications are available. If you go to the websites, you can probably find a number to call too. I only applied to AF, so I can't speak for the other services, but if you are talking about DAP, AF DAP boards meet in October, December, and April. If you are applying for October, you would interview (and submit your application) in September. It is not too early now though to start getting some of your materials together - e.g. motivation statement, securing letters of rec, getting the photograph done, etc. Good luck!

Marines will be willing to talk to you any time following sophomore year as an undergrad. Generally speaking, the earlier you can get to OCS to be evaluated the more likely you'll be given an opportunity. The longer you wait, the less likely. Keep in mind the Marine Corps is more interested in your leadership potential/capabilities than your academic prowess, although both are required--we give more credence to the former.
