Tagged. Starting my 1L Fed gig in 8 days.

Im in. 1L gig at local DA office, starting Monday.

Indigent defense checking in. Anyone going to be in the sf area?

2L state AG checking in. They said I'd likely be getting my own court docket, prolly a lot of child custody and state health care appeals. Sounds depressing!

In! Military internship starts later this month, couldn't be more excited.

Prosecution internship checking in. Rising 3L looking forward to handling cases myself. They said I'd likely do that.

I have two finals this week. Then freedom! (Well, fed gubbermint)

1L Federal Defender checking in. Capital habeas unit. If anybody has done death penalty appeals please PM me. I don't start until the first week in June. Eastern District of MO (STL office).

But love the Fed Defenders schtick. I may eventually try to move in that direction given the current tilt of the Sentencing Guidelines.

1L going to federal government. I start in the beginning of June and am super excited!

Yes! That was my cat, Minky. She passed away a couple months ago at the age of ~16.

In happier news, I just found out that I won a public interest fellowship from a national bar association. Yay for more $$ for the summer!
