How to follow up a mass-mail for a posted opening

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Apr 24, 2014 9:43 am

Hey, can someone help me.

I applied for a summer associate position with a firm's secondary office. The office decided rather late that they're having SAs, and posted publicly. I applied through the regular manner, but also got in touch with the recruiter at the head office regarding additional material.

It's been a while, and I want to follow up with the recruiter, to ask for a status update. Considering the late date, (and the fact I don't have anything good lined up for the summer), I find myself very insecure about drafting what should be a routine and straightforward email.

So, any advice on how to phrase such an email is greatly apprciated.

Thank you.
