I read from the other thread that non M&A corporate options tend to be more specialized. Any idea what a mid-level banking/
Finance Attorney from a Chambers Band 1 group has a shot exiting to? Other than credit agreements at other firms. Thanks all! Edit: market is nyc.

There are lots of different directions you could go, but that's not the same as saying there are lots of exit options. I know people who have gone in all directions in the corporate world, both legal and non-legal, but none of it was standardized, it was just a matter of the right opportunity coming along at the right time and the attorney jumping at it.

Interested in this thread as well. Doing mostly capital markets and finance work now, with some M&A mixed in, considering options down the line and preferably would move into M&A work. Anyone with anecdotes about a successful shift like this (banking/finance corporate work--M&A)? considering going to Bschool and would be interested to hear people's experiences moving between practices/corporate fields. thanks.
