@ Patent People - List 3.3 UG GPA on resume for Patent Lit?

3.3 in Physics from random State U (not a top program)
I took it off for applying to regular BigLaw SAs. My school's CSO agreed. She said that since I go to [upper T14] interviewers would assume I would have had higher than a 3.3. When compared to everyone else's 3.9 BA it looks like shit. Plus, most BigLaw interviewers are also gonna be part of that BA PolySci crowd.
BUT, I heard some people talking about putting GPAs lower than that on their resume for the Loyola fair in Chicago. Is it possible by leaving it off they might think I got a 2.x or something? As we all know this is not at all uncommon in the hard sciences.
For reference, I have an otherwise strong resume. I was also Dean's list my 4th year, but CSO also told me to take that off, since only have it 1 year would make people question why I didn't get it all 4 years. I agree.
Upper t14

Average law school grades
Advice appreciated, particularly from people currently in Patent Lit!
