Of course it's "possible" but how likely it is depends on so many other factors that your question is all but useless. School? Rank? Which Honors program?

Given your stats, no. Honors programs are generally extremely competitive.

Yep, they're competitive. I'm interested in whether or not medical circumstances are enough of a mitigating factor if you have good experience. I'm guessing there are stories out there of people citing to mitigating circumstances regarding medical issues. Interested to hear from those people and whether or not they felt it helped them.
You went to a shitty school, got shitty grades, but YOU ARE HIRED because you broke your arm! CONGRATS!

No, you misunderstand. Even if you were in the top 20%, at a non-T14, you likely wouldn't be very competitive either. It's good to have an explanation for low grades, but your medical issues have likely fucked you, since they torpedoed the one year that is utterly crucial to getting good grades.

But even if you had good grades, you likely wouldn't be very competitive for Honors positions. Sure, there are going to be one-off stories from people who were successful in spite of bad grades, but they will be far more the exception than the rule.
