Can you do a Fulbright Scholarship during law school? Are there any other similar programs available?

Normally you can't get a fulbright for a professional degree. That said, most other countries don't really treat law degrees like professional degrees as we do here. If you're going abroad for an LLM or similar master's degree you can get a fulbright for that course of study. One of my close friends did this as part of a joint degree program with our school.

I know a few people who did a Fulbright after law school as a way to gain experience in international law. I don't think doing one during school would be a great way to do it and given how far ahead you have to apply, that might not be workable to do that.
