Summer Firm Contact

Has anyone else not heard anything from their firm regarding the upcoming summer? I haven't heard anything since I accepted my offer (satellite office of larger firm).

That's not too uncommon, I don't think.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything either, and know several others in the same boat, so I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you are really nervous though, maybe email the HR person in a couple of weeks?

ETA: And by I know several others in the same boat I don't mean to suggest it's only a few people. I haven't gone around asking people if they've heard back after their acceptances. For all I know no firms have contacted people yet.

If you really need to know ASAP (e.g., because you need to make special housing/travel arrangements, for general planning purposes, etc.) I would recommend emailing someone from recruitment and asking. But it is not at all unusual to have not heard yet-- I didn't receive details until late February, for instance.

I got welcome emails from my interviewers and then the HR person told me my background check was fine, but other than that I haven't heard anything.

just ask. not really a big deal. firms have recruiting personnel for a reason.

however, i would advise you against calling everyday.
