1L OCI questions

1. If a firm comes for spring OCI, are the firms guaranteed to fill the spot from that school only? For example, is it possible for 60 people to interview but none of them get an offer since the firm decides to hire from another school? If not, how many positions do firms usually look to fill from Spring OCI?
2. Are the GPA reqs. (or "soft" requirements) for spring OCI similar to mass mailing? If a firm usually doesn't hire from anyone that's less than top 5-10% at T14 by the traditional mass mailing method, would they dip lower at spring OCI? Basically, is there a greater chance at spring OCI to land a firm job if your GPA is lower?
