Top Law Schools

Looking for some advice on how to apply to Fortune 500's for summer positions. I know that they are hard to come by especially for a 1L, however, I would still like to throw my hat in the ring. Any advice from people who have applied or gone through a summer at one of these companies would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I don't have my grades back yet from Duke.
