What is the best route to lateral into Vice Dean at a T1 law school from V10? Best practice group, etc.? Any tips appreciated. Is this move possible?

All the vice deans I know lateraled from space law or Supreme Court practice.

Probably the best way to answer this is for you to go to the websites of T1 schools and look up all the deans/admins, and figure out what they all did before becoming admins. A lot of administrators come from faculty ranks, though not all (especially people in career services and admissions).
