When do firms confirm SA offers?

Hi all. Probably just a neurotic case of the worries, but wondering if other people out there with SA positions have gotten solid confirmation of their offers for next summer? I only have an email so far and I'm curious if others have something more concrete.
Thanks!

It really depends on the firm. There's generally some sort of HR packet that you have to fill out and send back (that contains your official offer letter), but when that packet gets sent to you will vary. Larger firms will generally let you know when to expect it. Smaller firms (especially boutique firms) may do things on a different timetable, so I wouldn't sweat it either way.

We were given an email and told to not expect any other communication before February I believe.

After the confirmation email, all I got from my (biglaw) firm was a letter to sign giving them permission to request my transcript whenever they want from now until the end of human civilization.
It really does seem odd to me they don't send something along the lines of a "welcome to our firm!" letter.

My NYC V20 gave a letter confirming my acceptance, but none of my friends got one so no worries.
