Firm Merger
The firm I just accepted a 2l SA at is considering a merger with another major firm, should I be worried?

Enjoy pillsburrick, I guess. Though you might want to seriously think about clerking if that's an option for you and preparing for 3L OCI. Even if you get an offer (and your chances are probably worse now), the merger could mean an associate cull earlier on or a collapse in a few years. You probably don't want to be around for either.
But if you have no other options, just do your best there and hope everything works out.

i have made a thread where we can discuss this merger. its aptly called Frankstein's Hobby Shoppe. i have already given my assessment of the merger and it seems youve bought into an ascendant brand, one that is certain to relegate the Watchells, Cravaths and Sullcroms of the universe to a dusty second tier. to your prescience!!!
